People Are Saying I Was A Street Vendor, But I Am Not. - Abraham Attah.

Abraham Attah

Abraham  Attah lives in Accra, Ghana’s capital, with his five siblings and parents — his mother works in a market, his father at the port. The fourteen year old has spurred suddenly into popularity after starring in 'THE BEAST OF NO NATION'  which has led him winning several awards.

However the grind of publicity seems to be getting to the teenager, who in an interview in New York admitted he was bored of repeatedly answering the same questions, and was reluctant to be separated from his brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 5. “I know everything they’re going to ask me, so I’m tired,” he said.
When asked how he got into the movie,  this was his reply. 'People are saying I was a street vendor, but I’m not a street vendor. I was in school. We were playing football on our school field, and a white man was watching when I was playing. I thought he needed someone for the football team. He told us we should go for an audition. I was working hard for the role, so I got the role'
